Mary Ellen is my grandmother who immigrated to the United States from Ireland when she was about 18 years old. She lost both her parents by the time she was 15 but had a sincere belief that her faith would get her through all of life and that love was about leaning in, accepting people, and seeing the beauty in nature, poetry, and music.

She would eventually marry a man she “couldn’t wait to see when he got home,” and have 10 children with him. She then would raise half of them after he died in his 50s from heart disease. Mary Ellen lived for 86 years, and her bright blue eyes maintained a light that made you feel seen and loved. She always had time to hold your hand.

These women taught me that your path in life can meander and twist and turn, but if you stay connected to your intuition, your truth and divine self will find a way to feel love. 

My life has had a series of “Plan Bs” and “Plan Cs,” from the grief of losing my mom to the joy of becoming a mom myself, from the pain of divorce and choosing to be a single mom to the deep, loving connection I now have in my marriage. I know that it is never “too late” to create the life we want, from experiencing motherhood again in my 40s to adapting and growing to the changes in careers in the second half of my life. I can honestly say that The Adult Chair® model has provided me with simple tools to create the life I want instead of suffering through a life of circumstances.

I understand that life is not perfect and has its challenges, but I also know that by learning how to connect within, you will find YOUR TRUTH and YOUR most divine path, and in doing so, I will guide you to be more loving and compassionate to yourself, your family, and your community.
